Stretching Importance How often you see people in gym stretching? How often you stretch muscles after workout, or at home?

Actually that is very important aspect of muscle growth and muscle look.

 

 

 

By stretching Importance muscles you will:

– loosen up joints;

– relax muscles;

– get there more blood thus more nutritional elements;

– increase flexibility;

– get enhanced coordination;

– feel better in regards of movements and generally easier after a workout;

Enough reasons to do it, right? Now the main question when and how to stretch muscles correct?

I don’t recommend stretching before workout. I did this a few times and it always affected in negative way my workout.

Between sets I do some short stretching from time to time. For example during a workout I can do 2 small stretches not more.

The important fact is to stretch muscles AFTER WORKOUT, this will fasten recuperation process and muscle growth.

  1. Stretching before workout is only a waste as well as warming up before the workout session. I’ve experienced the same like you, my workout session even get worse during that session. I only do stretch at the end of workout session.

If any body thing that Stretching in not use full in bodybulding then just type “ronnie coleman stretching” hope u dont have that much muscles that ronnie coleman has and u can not stretch like ronnie coleman…. This Guys has excelent stretching ability..stretching gives u flexibility and flexibility help u in ur daily work.. i short if you don’t have an appropriate stretching routine in your fitness program, then you may be risking injury every time you perform anaerobic training like the Sprint 8 Workout, or weight-plyos etc….

  4. I did not know about the importance of stretching, until I was recomended to do it by my trainer after the intensive workout. No books could have convinced my more than my own experience! It was real pleasure for muscles. I never stretch before – only after the workout. And it works, guys.

  5. Great article on a topic most don’t know enough about. I agree with their views on when stretching should be done and hope this gets read by our younger fitness enthusiasts.
