What is GMP?

During Practice, is an international quality standard system which ensures that medical products are produced and controlled in accordance with quality standards, specifications and requirements appropriate for their intended use.

GMP presupposes permanent and strict control of all stages and aspects of the manufacturing process – including sanitary and technological norms, labels on containers, equipment quality and hygiene of the stuff involved in medicines production. GMP covers the production process until the finished product is distributed to the stores. GMP guidelines are a set of basic principles, requirements and procedures that must be followed and fulfilled while manufacturing.

The principal goal of GMP is providing the consumer with medicines that are safe and suitable for their intended use.
